Monday's golf recap

Hopkinsville and Hopkins County Central tied on the golf course Monday at the Hopkinsville Country Club.

Hoptown's Dayton Jones took medalist honors with a 37, followed by Jordan Gary's 41.

Other golfers were:

Conner Gates-44

Dallas Gates-45

Lucas Bolinger-45

David Gardner-52

For the ladies, Marah Goff shot a 43, and Michaela Young shot a 63. Hopkins Central's Ashley Howerton won with a score of 39.

Hopkinsville will play University Heights and Christian County today at the Links at NovaDell.

Scott Brown handles most of the sports duties for Ham Broadcasting. In addition to providing daily sports news on this blog, he broadcasts high school football, basketball, and baseball games on WKDZ and WHVO. He also hosts the Saturday Morning Sports Report on WKDZ -- one of the few local sports programs in the area. His local sports has been the most read in Trigg County for several years.
