In golf action Wednesday, Hopkinsville lost to Daviess County in a dual match at Ben Hawes State Park, which is where the Region II Meet will be held later this year. Daviess shot a 153 to Hoptown's 173.

For the young Blazers, sixth grader Dalton Putty shot a 46, and eighth grader Tim Utley carded a 48.
Also Tuesday, Trigg County and Hopkinsville tied in a triangular match at Boots Randolph Golf Course. They each shot a 167, while Crittenden County shot a 175.
