Trigg County lost to Livingston Central in a quad golf match Tuesday by a single stroke. Livingston Central shot a 173, while Trigg had a 174 at Boots Randolph Golf Course. Crittenden County had a 185, and Caldwell County a 192.
Josh Lowe and Derek Rogers each had a 6-over 42. Cole Garnder added a 43, while Nick Choate had a 47 and Shaun Sizemore a 49.
In the girls' match, Karli Bush had a 53, including a chip-in birdie. Sierra Bush shot a 59, and Madison Cheney had a 61.
Trigg County will host Lyon County, Caldwell County, and UHA in a quad match tomorrow at Boots Randolph Golf Course.
Trigg County opened their season Aug. 5 with a dual match loss to Calloway County at the Murray Oaks Country Club. Calloway had a 168 compared to Trigg's 181.
Josh Lowe led Trigg County with a 42, followed by Nick Choate (43), Derek Rogers (47), Cole Gardner (49), and Shaun Sizemore and Caleb Bush with a 50.
Trigg's girls were led by Karli Bush's 54. Sierra Bush added a 58, and Madison Cheney had a 61.
