Ty Rogers wins ESPY Award

Former Lyon County and Western Kentucky University basketball player Ty Rogers won an ESPY Award for Best Finish.

The awards show was Wednesday and broadcast on the worldwide leader Sunday night.

Here is the shot that won him the ESPY, from a non-CBS point of view.

Not a bad few months for the Hilltopper. No word on of he got to meet Erin Andrews, which to me, would be worth more than winning the ESPY.

Scott Brown handles most of the sports duties for Ham Broadcasting. In addition to providing daily sports news on this blog, he broadcasts high school football, basketball, and baseball games on WKDZ and WHVO. He also hosts the Saturday Morning Sports Report on WKDZ -- one of the few local sports programs in the area. His local sports has been the most read in Trigg County for several years.
