Fort Campbell 11 Trigg County 5

Fort Campbell took advantage of 11 Trigg County errors to post an 11-5 win over the Lady Wildcats today at the Complex.

The loss drops Trigg's record to 1-12 on the season.

The Lady Falcons scored three runs in the third and five more in the fifth to put the game away.

Heather Hinze had three hits and three RBIs for Fort Campbell (4-6), while Jordan Brower and Deanna Anderson also had two hits each.

Samantha Furr had two singles and an RBI for Trigg County, who also got doubles from Karlie Stewart and Keisha Stewart and a single from Sierra Bush.

Dakota Littlejohn gave up 12 hits in seven innings, but 10 of the 11 runs she allowed were unearned.  She struck out five and walked four while tossing 142 pitches.

Trigg County is scheduled to play three games Saturday in the UHA Invitational in Hopkinsville.
