VOLLEYBALL - Trigg County at Caldwell County (JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm) - The Lady Wildcats (9-12) lost to Caldwell County 25-23, 25-18 on Aug. 30 in Cadiz. Caldwell (20-3) has won three of the last four meetings dating back to last year.
GIRLS SOCCER - Trigg County at Lyon County (JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:15pm) - Trigg County saw their Tuesday game with St. Mary cancelled when the game officials did not show. Lady Wildcat head coach Mike Smith said the game would not be rescheduled. Now, the Lady Wildcats enter their toughest stretch of the season against Lyon County (8-3) tonight, Heath (11-2-3) on Tuesday, and Caldwell County (9-2-1) next Thursday.
"We have a tough stretch coming up which should really challenge us and show where we are. I'm real proud of the kids and they keep working hard and staying positive. We still have yet to field the same starting line up for more than two games in a row, and we continue to have key players out for injuries, yet the kids keep finding ways to stay competitive," Smith said.
Trigg has never beaten Lyon County, getting outscored 28-3 in their four previous losses.
BOYS SOCCER - Trigg County at Russellville (Varsity at 5:30pm) - Trigg County looks to get above .500 and notch the soccer program's 100th career win tonight in Russellville, a team with a record of 4-7 who bring a 4-game losing streak to the table. Trigg County leads the all-time series 10-3-1 and have won the last seven meetings. Junior Roman Cail needs one assist to tie Justin Cain for the all-time assist mark with 24.
FRESHMAN FOOTBALL - Trigg County hosts Graves County in a 6pm game at Perdue Field.
