Jay Jolly won the boys' race with a time of 19:02 over the 3.1-mile course. Romaine Cunningham was third in 20:09, followed by Jonathon King and Zeke Wright, who tied for fourth place in 20:49, and Jayven Jones, who was seventh in a time of 23:04.
Trigg won the boys' race 20 points to 47 for Dawson Springs.
For the girls, Lynese Byers won the race in a time of 22:21. Alex Olin was third in 23:40, followed by Macey King in fourth (25:15), Monica Jones in eighth (28:58), and Rachel Cronin, who was 11th in 31:55.
The Lady Wildcats had 27 points, compared to 29 for Dawson Springs.
The girls ran without one of their runners and is dealing with the loss of their top runner from last year, Shakandace Malone, who moved to Louisville over the summer.
Trigg County is scheduled to compete in the Hopkins County Central Invitational next Thursday.
