Todd County scored 13 runs in the third and fourth innings to beat Trigg County 15-4 Friday in Cadiz.
The Lady Wildcats were did in by seven errors and eight walks on the afternoon.
"We just had a few too many walks, errors, and mental mistakes," said Lady Wildcat head coach Jamie Howell.
Sam Furr and Hayla Frye each had RBI singles in the second inning to give Trigg a 2-1 lead before Todd scored six in the third inning and seven more in the fourth inning.
Todd County improved to 1-1 with the win, while Trigg fell to 0-4.
Trigg County won the JV game 12-5.
