Jay Jolly won the boys meet in a time of 19:02 over the 3.1-mile course. Romaine Cunningham finished third in a time of 20:15, followed by Zeke Wright (20:54) in fourth, Jakelzie Martin (21:42) in sixth place, and Jayven Jones finished 13th in 25:30.
Trigg edged Dawson's boys' team 27-31.
For the girls, Shakandace Malone finished second behind the defending region champ, but made a race of it for a while.
Heather Martin won the race in 23:30, while Malone was second in 24:05. Macey King finished sixth in 26:04, followed across the finish line by Lynease Byers (26:37) in ninth, Alex Olin (27:00) in tenth, and X'zasha Mayes (28:17) in 11th place.
Dawson Springs won the race with 25 points, while Trigg had 38 points.
On Tuesday, Trigg County swept a dual meet with Murray.
Jay Jolly again won the boys' race, finishing in 18:58. Zeke Wright was third in 20:09, followed by Romaine Cunningham (22:17) in fifth, Jakelzie Martin (22:19) in sixth, and Grady Cofield in eighth place in 23:48.
For the gals, Shakandace Malone won the race in a time of 25:07, while Alex Olin was third in 26:08. Macey King was fourth in 26:45, followed by X'Zashea Mayes (29:37) in eighth, and Alex Carr (31:12) in ninth place.
The boys scored 23 points to win the race. Murray had 32. For the gals, Trigg beat Murray 21-30.
